Suzanne D. Huff

Suzanne Derieux Huff passed away January 10, in Mechanicsville, VA. Suzanne was the daughter of the late James Mundie Derieux and Jeanette Ryland Derieux of Remlik, VA where she and her sister Mae grew up. Suzanne graduated from Saluda High School and attended Converse College.

Suzanne was a long time resident of Ashland, VA where she was a charter member of the Ashland Junior Womens Club, Henry Clay Womens Club and the Ashland Garden Club. An avid gardener, Suzanne was a Virginia Extension Master Gardener. Suzanne was an active member of the Ashland Presbyterian Church for many years. Suzanne retired from American Tobacco Company after forty years of service.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, her nephew, Nelson Taylor, Jr and her sister, Mae Taylor. She is survived by daughters Stephanie Brown(Kim), Jerre Rausa (Joe); grandchildren Suzanne Andrito(Neil), Mark Rausa(Marci)and Elisabeth Brown; great grandchildren Joe and Grace Andrito, Gerald Rausa.

A memorial service will be held March 5 at the Ashland Presbyterian Church at 2:00 pm. The family will greet friends in Lancaster Hall one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Ashland Presbyterian Church, 401 Virginia St, Ashland, VA 23005.
