Teresa Mary Delille

DELILLE, Teresa Mary, formerly of Grand Haven, Michigan, 95, passed away in Henrico, VA peacefully on Thursday, August 21, 2025. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Perry DeLille, her parents, Peter & Rose Dionise and her granddaughter Rachel DeLille. She is survived by her sons, Peter DeLille (Amy) of Middleville, MI., and Robert DeLille (Carrie) of Ashland, VA; her grandchildren, Jason,

Lindsey, Kara, Eryn, Casey, Kelli, Caitlyn, Nicholas, Rebekah, Temima, Fedila, Isaac,

Daniel, and Sam, and her sister, MaryAnn Howe. She is also survived by 20 greatgrandchildren.

Teresa attended St. Joseph High School (Muskegon) in 1947 and Mercy Central School of Nursing (Grand Rapids) in 1950, graduating first in her class. She also took classes at Western Michigan University. Teresa worked as a Visiting Nurse, Industrial Nurse, and at North Ottawa Community Hospital (NOCH) for many years. She volunteered for the Red Cross Volunteer Nurses, was a NOCH Volunteer, and was a mentor for Central School Reading.

Teresa was an active Member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, a Chapel volunteer and

Captain, a Food Pantry Volunteer, a member of Bible Study, and a Senior member of St.

Patrick's Social Group.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 920 Fulton St., Grand Haven, MI 49417, on Friday, October 10th at 11 AM, with lunch following. Interment will be private with the family at Lake Forest Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Patrick's Church or

Christian Haven Home in Grand Haven.
