Warren Eugene Barlow

Warren Eugene Barlow, 86, of Hanover and recently of Suffolk, passed away on December 15, 2018. He was the son of the late Walter and Maude Barlow and was preceded in death by his wife, Hope Barlow and brother, Paul Barlow. Warren worked passionately as a Diesel Mechanic for 60+ years. He restored a 1950 Ford pick up truck and enjoyed attending car shows. He was a Mason and Shriner in Hanover County. Mr. Barlow is survived by his wife, Joyce Gibson-Barlow; daughter, Susan Melton (Wayne); grandchildren, Joshua Melton (Amanda) and Ian Melton (Shannon); great-grandchildren, MacKenzie and Wesley and brothers, Robert "Bobby" Barlow and Walter Barlow. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory - Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Highway, Ashland, VA 23005, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 2pm. Interment will follow in Signal Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org.
