He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Doris Gibson Mills. He was a certified welder and retired from West Engineering in 2013.
He is survived by his daughter, Donna Michael (Chris); his son, Roger Mills; three grandchildren, Ashley Mills, Brianna Michael, and Austin Mills; his great grandson Rhett; his brother James Mills (Shirley) and his brother Tommy Mills (Cathy).
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S Washington Hwy., Ashland, Va.
