

AGER, William C., 70, of Ashland, Ret. Captain of the USMC, went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Mary Frances Ager. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Diane H. Ager; children, Truly Ager of New York, NY, Chris Ager of Chicago, IL and Rebecca Long (Kevin) of Sewickley, PA; three grandchildren, James, Jessica, and Katelyn; and a sister, Jeni Woock of Gig Harbor, WA. Bill served his community with the company he founded, Reinforcements, Inc. He was an active and dedicated member of First Baptist Church, Ashland. Bill, with a deep love for his country, was a proud Marine Corp Veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He had a great sense of humor and always had a joke to tell. He was also an avid Model Railroader and this hobby has brought much joy to his family and grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Ashland, 800 Thompson St. The "Home Going" celebration of Bill's life will also be held at First Baptist on Friday, December 18th at 11am.
