Dad, you have given me so many wonderful childhood memories. Thank you for that. Creating these same memories has always been important to me and how I raise my family. Family nights where we focus on fun and being in the moment. I remember when you would play your banjo or harmonica for us, or when you shaved and would come out of the bathroom with a different mustache style over and over, these memories will always be close to my heart. I’ll always pause and think of you when George Jones or Johnny Cash play, I remember you singing to us and all of us dancing.
My favorites nights were when we went roller skating. You always made sure my friends felt welcomed to join us. I still hear stories about what you had done to help them throughout these years. This always made me proud. I do regret not having more time together but do find peace in knowing you surrounded yourself with your brothers and sisters.
You will always have a special place in my heart, and I will always miss you.
I love you Dad, watch over me from above

Dad, I loved you more than I think you ever would know....what gives me peace is that Brandyn your grandson welcomed you into heaven! We spent many weekends at work together which passed on your passion of being a woodworker to me. You taught me many things like to be a hard worker, that family is important and to take the time to joke around. You always did things that amazed me like when you stayed up all night to beat that Intellivision game and then showed us how to beat it. You always made our Christmas great and showered us with love. My only regret is we never had enough time together later in life. I hope you are with me in spirit as I work and carry on in life. You will be missed and I know you will be keeping a watchful eye on us from heaven! I love you, Dad!
"In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord make me dwell in safety." PSALM 4:8

Over the years our relationship was up and down but we still loved and cared for each other. After spending over two months in the hospital before you demise we renewed our bond as family. As you reminded me many times that I will always be your baby brother and you love me.
God's speed on your way to heaven and watch over the ones you cherished so dearly. Love you and will always be remembered.
