Edward Charles Millard was born on August 11, 1933 in Paisley Brook, SK (Big Beaver district). A few years later, the family moved to the farm. When he was older, he left home and worked as a hired hand on the Bill and Helen Noble farm for many years. He then went to work for Edward Burgess on the Burgess Ranch up until he met his wife, Estella Hanrahan. They together moved to the farm just east of Big Beaver where they had raised four children, William, Aaron, Krystal and Alan. Edward lived and worked the farm until September 2017. Edward then moved into the Coronach Health Centre where he peacefully passed away August 27, 2021.
Edward was predeceased by his parents Charles and Marie, his son William, his sister Larcella and his brother Owen. He is survived by his three children Aaron, Krystal, Alan and their families.
