Eleanor Tollefson

She was predeceased by her husband Clarence, her parents Janet and Charles Frey, her siblings: Roger, Orville, Douglas and Florence, son-in-law Dennis Berg, grandson Warren Berg and daughter-in-law Helen Tollefson. Eleanor is survived by children: Margo Tollefson, Arnold, Dorothy (Clifford) Short, Bev (Vic) Donald, Ken (Colleen), Marlene (Ron) Howse, Michael, Darcy (Laurie); grandkids: Scott and Sherry Short; Kim, Crystal, Karen Tollefson; Tanya and Nicole Donald; Jodie and Jamie Tollefson; Chris, Brett and Ryan Howse; Shane, Krista and Michelle Tollefson; Kelly, Trevor and Jason Tollefson, numerous great and great-great grandchildren, and siblings: Wallace, Floyd, Allen, Irene and Margaret.

Eleanor was born March 14, 1921 in the Paisley Brook district, Big Beaver, SK. She attended Paisley Brook School. She married Clarence Tollefson in May 1940 and moved to a farm east of Big Beaver where they lived until 1973 when they moved to an acreage near Bengough.

Eleanor loved her family and had a great love for horses and other animals. Later in life, she enjoyed playing cards, doing puzzles and crafts. In 2014, she moved into the Bengough Seniors Home.

A Graveside Service will be held at the Big Beaver Cemetery later in 2022. Donations in Memory of Eleanor may be made to the Twilight Home Auxiliary, PO Box 186, Bengough S0C 0K0.
