Melvyn Hutchinson

Mel grew up in Scout Lake, spending time on his grandparent's farm. In his early work years, he developed a passion and high skill level for earth moving, that continued for many years. Later he developed a love of farming which led him to settle on the Hutchinson farm and raise a family. He enjoyed the farming way of life, growing crops and raising cattle. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

He is predeceased by eldest child, Susan Hutchinson. He is survived by wife, Loreen Walker; children: Brenda Hutchinson, Clint (Laura) Walker, Dean (Karrie) Hutchinson, Sharlene (Scott) Love, Kyron Hutchinson and families.

A Celebration of Mel's life was held Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 1:30pm at the Scout Lake Community Hall, Scout Lake, SK. In Memory of Mel, family request you write a joke or two and leave in the basket at the service.
