Robert Howard Giblett

With sadness the family of Robert (Bob) Giblett shares the news of his passing on September 25th, 2020. Bob was born on July 1st, 1945 to Hedley and Florence Giblett of Bengough, Saskatchewan. Bobby was an exceptional athlete throughout most of his life. Playing hockey, football, and baseball during his younger years in Bengough and continuing to play slow-pitch, golf, and adult league hockey when he moved to Regina. Bob loved being with friends and family, travelling, camping and any type of competition. Bob married his soul mate, Cheryl, in 1966. They had one daughter, Candace, and were later overjoyed to welcome grandson Jack and granddaughter Billie to the family. Bob will return home to Bengough with a Graveside Service on Thursday, October 8th, 2020 at 2:00 pm. with Anne Hagen presiding. A celebration of life for Regina friends and family is forthcoming. I will always think of Bob as my second dad. Almost all of my childhood memories involve the entire Giblett family. They were an integral part of my life. I remember the love, the laughter and open arms that always were there for me. I’m holding you all in my heart.
