With great sadness we announce the passing of our father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and great uncle on November 30, 2021. Steve was born January 2, 1952. He is survived by sons Kelly (Tania), Kenneth, Braden (Sharnelle) and Logan, mother Nellie, brothers Roy (Dale) and Boyd, sisters Penny Schafer (Mike Mondor) and Gayle Knoss, grandchildren, nephews, niece and great nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by birth father Donald Timmel and father Roger Schafer, sister-in-law Holly, brother-in-law David Knoss and nephew Tim Schafer.
Steve will always be remembered by family and friends for his quick wit and thoughtfulness. A celebration of Steve's life was held Saturday, December 18, 2021 in Rockglen Community Hall at 2:00 p.m.
