Charlotte Johnson

Charlotte Johnson was born on September 20th 1928 in Atlanta, Georgia. Her beloved parents were her Mother, Daisy Mae Rivers-Walker (deceased) and her Father, Charlie Walker (deceased). She was blessed with three brothers, Fune Walker (preceded her death), Smith Walker, John Walker and Joe Walker as well as three sisters, Lessie Johnsn, Thelma Milner and Margaret Bradley (all preceded her death). Charlotte attended Washington High School: Bogg Academy. Coming from a God fearing family, she attended Antioch Baptist Church as a young adult. During her time in Atlanta, Georgia, Charlotte worked as a cosmetologist, while attending nursing school. Charlotte moved to New York in the 1940's. It was there she met her husband, the late George Washington Johnson and soon after, they were married. From that union, Charlotte and George were blessed with Beverly L. Kaye (preceded in death), Harold F. Johnson and George W. Johnson Jr. (preceded in death). Charlotte also deeply loved her six grandchildren, Cherie Vialet, Susanna Archambault, Monique Gambino, Aimee Kaye, George P. Johnson and Alicia Kaye as well as her great-grandchildren, Steven Archambault, Anthony Vialet Jr., Daniela Archambault, Jaidyn Johnson and George Johnson. After working for 25 years Charlotte later retired from Bird S. Coler Hospital. She spent her life serving the church, supporting her community and encouraging her family. Studying the word of God became one of her valued hobbies and she loved and cherished her dog, Poochie.
