Dorothy Louise Hughes of Hudson, Florida entered into eternal rest on March 15, 2014. Dorothy was born on January 18, 1936 in Astoria, New York to Thomas Maguffin and Elizabeth Cowan. Dorothy will be missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday March 18, 2014 from 2-5:00pm & 7-9:00pm. A funeral mass will take place Wednesday March 19, 2014 10:30am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Long Island National Cemetery located in Farmingdale, New York. Arrangements under the direction of Thomas M. Quinn & Sons, Astoria, NY.
