Johnny Luna entered into eternal rest on January 9, 2015 in New York, NY. He was born on July 9, 1980 to Juan and Maria Luna in Brooklyn, NY. Johnny was raised in Astoria and graduated from Long Island City High School in 1999. He worked as an elevator mechanic. This was a job that he loved and was proud of. He married his wife, Carmen in 2013. Johnny was an avid fan of football, soccer and baseball; he enjoyed listening to talk radio as well as political debates. He leaves to cherish and honor his memory, his beloved wife, Carmen; his loving parents, Juan and Maria; his sisters, Stephanie and Natalie; his adoring nieces and nephews, Perrie, Angel, Alex, Daneya and Brianna and many other relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed. Visitation will take place at Thomas M. Quinn & Sons Funeral Home on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:00 - 9:00 PM. Mass of the Resurrection will be Thursday at 9:45 AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Astoria, NY and the interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery.
