

Ramon Guitard, the son of the late Bernice Johnson Guitard and Pedro Guitard, was born in New York, New York on November 4, 1946. He departed this life on Saturday, October 15, 2016 in New York City at the age of sixty-nine.
Ramon was a loving, thoughtful and affectionate man of integrity and conviction and was especially beloved by his sister Helena and deceased brother Pedro. When Ramon completed Woodrow Wilson High School, he went into the U.S. Army, fought in the Vietnam with valor and honor and subsequently returned home a honorable discharged veteran. Gifted in science and mathematics, Ramon went to trade school and excelled as a carpenter, electrician and various construction industry occupations.
Ramon was a faithful believer in God, who was loved and respected by all that came in contact with him.
Ramon is survived by: his sister, Helena Guitard – Paylor; brother in law, Charles T. Paylor; son, Ramon Guitard, daughter, Eelan Guitard; and his former wife, Lottie Guitard; grand children, Alecia, Ayden, Andre, Carlton, Sasha and Gabriella; nieces, Tiomara, Lauren, Octavia, Olivia, Corinthia, Kiara and Shaunet, nephews; Andre , Pedro III, S. James Guitard; and a host of family and friends.
