Sister Mary T. Galvin, CSJ of Long Island City, New York entered into eternal rest on June 15, 2013. She was born on April 21, 1924 in New York to Jeremiah Galvin and Delia Ryan. She was a history teacher in various high schools. Sister Mart T. Galvin will be missed by her very dear friend Sister Miriam Lloyd, CSJ, her sisters in community and her many beloved cousins. Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 18, 2013 from 2-5:00pm & 7-9:00pm. The Mass of the Resurrection will take place on Wednesday June 19, 2013 9:30am at Saint Patrick's Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery located in Brentwood, New York.
