David Atlee Tissue, 88, of Atascadero, CA, and formerly of Cleveland, OH, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026. Born January 25, 1938, in Morgantown, WV, David was a proud Navy veteran and a respected figure in the Cleveland financial community, retiring as a Syndicate Manager from Everen Securities in 1999.
A man of great style and even greater heart, David was known for his love of sports—from coaching youth softball to his own days on the tennis court and golf course. He was an active member of the Elks Club and the Sons of the American Revolution. David’s sharp intellect and great sense of humor, his impeccable sense of style, and love for a spirited debate will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Susan; children Gregory (Denise) LePera and Heather Tissue; and granddaughters Carly and Miranda Stevenson. The family will observe a private service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice in David’s memory.
