Del passed away leaving a legacy of genuine kindness, deep loyalty, and a vibrant spirit. Whether he was connecting with people in his daily life or simply being his authentic self, Del’s warm presence made the world a brighter and significantly more lively place.
His life was defined by deep connection. Melissa and Del shared a beautiful bond from early on, officially (wink) starting their journey together in 2002. Throughout their 26 years building a life rooted in love, shared dreams, and tolerating his various creative projects, Melissa remained his partner and fierce advocate, standing by him with unwavering devotion.
That same loyalty extended to his 18 years owning and operating Mission Plumbing. Del treated every service call with absolute honesty and his signature warm personality. His straightforward approach built deep trust, easily turning clients into good friends who always knew they were in good hands.
Del’s circle of friends held a deeply important place in his life, and he loved nothing more than talking their ears off. For Del, friendship was based on just being themselves and sharing good times. While he shared a vast circle of lifelong friends, Ryan Hepperly, Chad Reynolds, and Taylor Calvert, amongst many others, were like brothers to him—people he loved and would do absolutely anything for.
When the tools were put away, Del found his true freedom riding his dirt bike through the open trails or desert he loved, finding quiet rejuvenation in nature.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa; his beloved dog, Roscoe; his mom, Stephanie Brazil; his father, Mike Dinauer; his stepmother, Ladonna Dinauer; his brother, Peter Brazil; and his sister, Katie Johnston; and Melissa's brother, Michael Cox. His impact will be felt for generations, and his free spirit lives on in the hearts of everyone who loved him—and in the plumbing of homes that will likely never leak again.
