

Gerald Brazzi Gerald Brazzi, 81, born in May 1933, in Atascadero passed away on April 1, 2015. Gerald grew up in Santa Margarita, and attended school in Atascadero, graduating in 1953. He worked as a head custodian for the AUSD from 1954 to 1991. Gerald suffered from M.S. for more than 30 years, but always had a positive outlook except if it had to do with a snake. Even though he was paralyzed, he remained positive and a role model for many around him. He liked everyone and everyone liked him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Alma Brazzi, and brothers, Orville and Leonard Brazzi. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sally Brazzi of Atascadero; son, Mike Brazzi of Cottonwood, Calif.; daughter, Lisa Stickler (Rick) of Buda, Texas; brother, Herb Brazzi of Santa Margarita and sister, Fern Cardoza of Sunnyvale, Calif. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Jacklyn, Laura, and Sean, and three great-grandsons: Gerald, Rhylan and Quincy. Memorial Services will be held at the Chapel of Roses on Saturday, April 18, at 1:00pm with a Celebration of Life at the Colony Hall-Best Western Colony Inn 3600 El Camino Real, Atascadero immediately following the service.
