While I did not personally know Karen, I enjoyed our Facebook conversations very much. When she was adjusting to her new - widow - life, we compared notes on downsizing. Prayers of comfort for her family and all who loved her. Peace be with you all....

Karen, thank you for everything you did in your life.  You had a big impact on my personal growth and way of looking on life.  Really wish I would have taken the opportunity to thank you while you were alive.

Karen, you were so loved and a beautiful soul. We met at Crossroads Community church and I remember you were so kind and the real deal. You always spoke the truth and you were a really great listener. You always made me feel important and loved. I will miss catching up on social media and connecting in notes. I miss you already, may you Rest In Peace and say Hi to Jesus for me! Until we meet again sweet friend.

I am truly going to miss you Karen. So glad I was able to visit you in your new place. That was the best catchup lunch we ever had. Thank you for encouraging me and sharing your life with me. It’s been so nice knowing you. Since the Crossroads days. Wow long time. I was telling my girls about when you had your heart attack and Roger came to visit you in the hospital and you were all worried about my surprise birthday party. 🤣🥰. That was just the kind of person you were. Always thinking of others. Until we meet again my friend. Love you. ♥️

I wish I'd met Karen in person. We met on Facebook 4 years ago. I could tell from her posts that she was a loving, warm & caring person deeply distressed at the direction her country has taken. Karen was one of a kind, I cannot believe she was taken from us and I hope she is united with Bob & Lil Bit. Wishing her family peace.

I worked with Karen in the 1990's at Cal Poly. She was Director of the Computer Lab. She was a wonderful example of a leader who had a great team that really liked working with her. I was so grateful to reconnect with her in these last few years. 

I will miss chatting with her. Rest in Peace, Karen.
