

Kerry William Kreider Born on June 8, 1949 in Atascadero, CA, passed away peacefully at home on August 21, 2014 in Atascadero, CA. He was preceded in death by his father, Bard Lee Kreider; brother, Bard F. Kreider; and grandson, Justin Pomi. Survived by his mother, Velva C. Kreider, 92, of Atascadero; loving companion of 21 years, Patricia A. Sullivan and her children, Mike Sullivan of Atascadero and Margaret Avila of Roseburg, OR; daughters Lori (Ed) Manfredi of Atascadero and Brandy Kreider of Las Cruces, NM; nephews, Bard Kreider and Scott Kreider of Atascadero; grandchildren, Mason Kreider, Joe Manfredi of Atascadero, Caitlyn, Jessica and Roxanne of Rosenburg, OR and Michael Sullivan of Valley Springs, CA Kerry served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He loved hunting and anything of a mechanical nature. He was known as the Go-To man in town; troubleshooting for his friends in need of assistance with any engine or heavy equipment that was broken. He had a gift to fix the unfixable. He enjoyed watching Western Movies and the restoration of firearms. He loved Pat’s cooking and they had a good life together. He was a member of the Veteran’s of Foreign War and loved to spend time with his fellow Veterans there. He was also a former member of the Moose Lodge in Atascadero. He will be missed dearly. Friends are invited to a Memorial Celebration of Life on October 4, 2014 from 1pm to 4pm at The VFW Post 2814, 9555 Morro Road, Atascadero, CA.
