Marilyn Joy Marshall

Marilyn J. Marshall, 85, passed away of natural causes in her Paso Robles home Monday, June 27, 2016. She was born in Good Samaritan Hospital, Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 1930 to her parents, Marion and Richard Page of Los Angeles, CA.

She graduated from Hollywood High & obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree from Cal State, and later received her Master’s Degree from USC Los Angeles in “Law and Marketing”. She was married to her college sweetheart, Dale G. Marshall, for over 40 years.

Marilyn had a career in Intellectual Property & Contract Law as a Paralegal for (ARCO) Atlantic Richfield Co, Los Angeles & later worked for the Pres. at Fuller Theological College in Pasadena. She was a member of: ARCO Retiree Club of L.A. and Long Beach; Desk & Derrick Club of Long Beach; Danish National Committee of Calif.; Danish Sisterhood & Brotherhood Club, Los Angeles; and a Member of the Danish Lutheran Church in Yorba Linda, Calif.

After her husband died, she moved to Paso Robles (6 years ago) and became an active member of The Paso Robles Art Association; The Optimist Club of Paso Robles; a yearly volunteer for the Toy Bank and attended the Trinity Lutheran Church of Paso Robles.

She is survived by two married sisters: Nancy Page Graeber of Paso Robles & Linda Reneise Cory of Yorba Linda, CA and one nephew: Louis Page Graeber of Paso Robles, CA.
