Mary is survived by her sister Katie Fitzpatrick, her daughters Georgene and Kathy, their husbands Alan and Chuck and her granddaughters Kelly and Melissa and Kelly’s husband Loren. George, her husband passed away last year.
Mary went to Mount Saint Mary’s College in Los Angeles and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Bacteriology. While there Mary was the first recipient of the “Il Merito di Santa Margherita” for a paper she wrote about the effects of the small pox vaccination on people not suffering from small pox. After her marriage to George in 1952 her time was spent taking care of her family. She was a wonderful mother and wife. After her two daughters were grown she enjoyed gardening, traveling with her husband and spending time with her daughters, son-in-laws and her granddaughters.
Family and friends are invited to attend a service in her honor at Saint William’s Catholic Church in Atascadero on July 16th at 11:00a.m.
