Phyllis Loraine "Loraine" Russell

Phyllis "Loraine" Russell passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2014. She was born in 1928 in Moscow, Idaho, to Rosalie and Carl Nelson. When she was three-months-old, her family moved to Southern California. Loraine attended the University of Idaho and married to her beloved husband Richard "Dick" Russell, in in 1948. They were married for 41 years. Dick passed in 1989. Loraine was a lifetime Realtor/ Broker in Atascadero and was a devoted wife, mother and friend to many. She was happiest with family and friends, and consistently organized events with her gourmet cooking which always satisfied many appetites. Loraine is survived by her son, Kurt Russell; daughter Elizabeth Russell; granddaughter Claire Graham; grandsons Richard Russell, Robert Russell, Levi Johnson, and Kayl Johnson; great grandchildren Shane Graham, Cole Russell, Rowan Russell and Tyler Russell. Loraine is preceded in death by her two older brothers, Gene Nelson and Richard Nelson and son, Brian Russell. Loraine will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 14, 2014, at The Atascadero Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Rd Atascadero, CA 93423. A celebration of Loraine's Life will follow the service at a local park in Atascadero. Flowers may be addressed to The Atascadero Cemetery with much appreciation.
