Sue Ann Aitken

Born on May 5, 1948, Sunny dedicated her life to education and service. A proud graduate of Fresno State University, she spent over 30 years as a teacher in Fresno County, shaping the lives of countless students with her unwavering commitment and compassion.

Beyond the classroom, Sunny was deeply involved in her community. She led Girl Scout troops and served faithfully in her church’s children’s ministry. Her love for the outdoors was evident in the many camping trips she enjoyed with her children, grandchildren, and loved ones—moments that created cherished memories across generations.

Sunny's faith was central to her life; she loved the Lord with all her heart and lived out that devotion through acts of kindness and service. Her legacy is one of joy, hard work, love, and dedication—values she instilled in those around her through both word and example.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Elle, Dawn, and Adora; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grace and Valden Aitken.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at 3770 Ruth Way, Paso Robles, CA 93446. All who knew Sunny are welcome to attend and honor a life so beautifully lived.
