to Herman and Julia Harms. William “Bill” worked for the San Bernardino Sheriffs Dept before
changing careers and going to work for Caltrans for more than 25 years. He has worked in
Simmler, Lemon Cove, Benton, Bishop, Templeton and San Luis Obispo CA. Bill loved to to
watch football “go Raiders”, garden and spend time with his grandchildren before suffering a
stroke 5 years ago. He then resided at the Vineyard Hills Convalescent Home where he was
Resident President. Survived by his wife Lynn. 2 daughters, Holly Thom and Christa Engstrom
and their husbands. His grandchildren Michael Engstrom, Cassandra, Elizabeth and Juliana
Thom. Also his Brother Richard of Glendale Ca. Memorial services will be May 19th at 11:00
a.m. at the Chapel of the Roses Mortuary in Atascadero Ca.
