Ann Haynes Lankford

She was born April 3, 1945 in Madison County, AL; to William Martin Haynes and Marguery Clara Campbell Haynes.

Ms. Lankford was a graduate of Huntsville High School. She was a court clerk specialist at the Limestone County Courthouse for 35 years. Ann was a very generous and charitable person. She gave to many charitable organizations including pancreatic cancer research. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Ms. Lankford was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Marguery Haynes, two grandchildren Russell and Jeremiah Allen.

She is survived by her two daughters Cindy Allen (Tim) of Madison, AL; Keri Sandlin of Decatur, AL; one brother Bill “Butch” Haynes (Cheri) of Huntsville, AL; 10 grandchildren Emily (Logan) Henry, Sarah (Hassan) Khan, Amy (Jacob) Haney, Irina Allen, Kathryn Allen, Abby Sandlin, Samuel Allen, Vlad Allen, Anastasia Allen, Seth Allen, one great granddaughter Elyzabeth Henry and several nieces and cousins.

Visitation will be Sunday August 27, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. at McConnell Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will follow at 4 P.M. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Reed Humphries officiating.

Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Limestone County or American Cancer Society.
