Ashford T. White

The funeral service for Mr. Ashford T. White will be , November 31 , 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Kasey Harbin officiating. Burial will be in Tanner Methodist Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 P. M. at McConnell Funeral Home.

Mr. Ashford T White passed away, October 28, 2011 at Athens-Limestone Hospital, Athens, Alabama

Mr. White was born March 2, 1943 in Madison, Alabama. His parents were John Burton White and Mae Belle Root White. He was married to Judy Moyers White for 44 Years. He is survived by his wife, son: Thomas William White of Athens; four brothers: Virgil M. White and wife Deanne of Athens, Bobby R. White and wife Hazel of Athens, John R. White and wife Linda of South Carolina and Alvin D White and wife Kelly of Athens. One sister Lola Belle Herring and husband Morris of Texas.

Ashford T White graduated from Tanner High School, Ashford White severed in the Military from December 1961 to February 1965. Mr. White enjoyed working on cars and small engines and he had several hobbies; fishing, hunting, and metal detecting.

He was preceded in death by his father John Burton White, his mother Mae Belle Root White and two brother Burton White and Edward M. White and one sister Doris White Kirby.

Nephews will be pallbearers.
