Mrs. Sims was born August 7, 1985 to Gary and Jean Prince Wiseheart. She grew up in Hartselle and graduated from Hartselle High School in 2004.
Survivors include her husband of 10 years, Nick Sims; son Austin James Sims; daughter Zoey Lane Sims; mother, Jean Wiseheart; brother Nathan Wiseheart (Brittney); and nieces Elly Sims, Rachel Wiseheart and Blaire Wiseheart.
She is preceded in death by her father and grandparents George A. Wiseheart, Lorene Wiseheart; William L. and Clara Inez Prince.
Visitation will be held Friday April 5, 2024 at McConnell Funeral Home from 12:30 pm-2 pm. A service will be held in her honor at 2pm with burial following at Sandlin Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Willie Jones, Jeff Dunnivant, Jonathan Sims, Jamie Wales, Joey King and Frank Dragna.
Ashley was a sweet person who was always willing to lend a helping hand, and was known to be the life of the party. She attended First Baptist Church in Athens. She was athletically inclined and played softball for Hartselle High School.
