Bertha E. Beam

Bertha E. Beam, age 94 of Pulaski, TN passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Southern TN Regional Health System. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 21 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Alookaran officiating. Friday there will be a Rosary service at 5 p.m. and visitation from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Beam was born February 11, 1921 in Portage, WI to August Kirschling and Antionette Korda Kirschling. She was in active military in World War II. She was a wife, mother, homemaker, and member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church since 1967. She married Harold Beam October 1, 1945, and they were married for 64 years.

Mrs. Beam is survived by 5 sons: Jay Beam and wife JoAnne of Minor Hill, TN; Gary Beam and wife Linda of Austin, TX; Bill Beam and wife Shelia of Somerville, AL; Harold Beam, Jr. of Athens, AL; Greg Beam and wife Connie of Athens, AL; one brother, Greg Kirschling of Stevens Point, WI; one sister, Anne Sweeny of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be William “Matt” Beam, Jacob Beam, Michael Beam, Patrick Beam, Andrew Beam, and Troy Halliburton.
