Billy Joe Reynolds

Mr. Reynolds is preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Riley Mitchell, son Brad Reynolds, sisters Eloise Reynolds and Mary Reynolds, and brothers Danny Ray Mitchell and Ronnie Clay Mitchell.

Mr. Reynolds is survived by wife Marie Reynolds; children Laura Kalb, Lisa Hammonds, Malcolm Aquinas, Jason Reynolds, Jeffrey Reynolds, and stepdaughter Rhonda Norman; sisters Shirley Chambers and Evangeline Roark; brothers Donnie Mitchell and Grady Mitchell; eight grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and three great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Reynolds retired from the Army as a Sgt. Major after 30 years of service to his country.

Beneath his rough exterior, Mr. Reynolds had a kind heart with many friends that he loved and cared about and would help anyone in need. He also loved his many cats and dogs.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 8, 2025, at McConnell Funeral Home from 1:00-2:00 p.m.

A service in his honor will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel.

Chaplin Chance Hall will officiate the service.

Burial to follow at Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore.
