Charles Oran Biggerstaff, 83, of Athens, passed away Friday, October 31, 2025. He was born July 14, 1942, in Limestone County to Turner Biggerstaff and Nina Street Biggerstaff. He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Jason Biggerstaff; two brothers, James and Walter (Buddy); three sisters, Irene Holland, Sarah Walton, and Margaret Funderburck.
Mr. Biggerstaff was employed by North American as a truck driver, worked USPS in Huntsville. He always enjoyed catching up with his breakfast buddies at Jacks, Bojangles and McDonald’s. He never met a stranger and enjoyed making new friends anywhere he went.
Survivors include one daughter, Leigh Anne Biggerstaff; one sister, Rachel Broadway; several nieces and nephews.
There will be visitation on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at McConnell Funeral Home from 12-1:30 pm. The family will hold a private burial.
