

Born on June 25, 1946, in Canton, Ohio to Ray William and Maxine Kellogg. Chuck is survived by his wife, Vicki Kellogg; sons Charles R. Kellogg, Jr. and Richard Welch; daughter Michelle Steadman; 6 grandchildren; brother Donald Kellogg of Texas; sister Janie Cleary of Arizona; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Chuck was a retired Navy Master Chief, serving 26 years and retiring in 1991. He was a proud Vietnam Vet. He also served as Command Master Chief at several bases. His next career was as an auditor for Primerica Financial Services, retiring in 2020. In addition, he was a sheriff deputy while living in Texas.
While in the Navy, he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in human Behavior.
One of the joys of his life was helping others while being part of the Limestone County Veterans Treatment Court, LCCI; Amvets Post 21, VFW, and Masonic Lodge #16. He was also a member of First Presbyterian Church on the Square.
After retirement, he was able to pursue two of his passions – fishing and amateur woodworking.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, followed by a celebration of life at the Rogers Center, where food and drinks will be served.
