C.L. Hastings

The Funeral Services for Mr. C.L. Hastings, age 59, of Goodsprings, TN, will be Wednesday February 15, 2012 at 2 P.M, at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Bro. Doug Colwell and Bro. Shawn Faulk Officiating.

Mr. C.L. Hastings passed on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at his residence. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday February 15, 2012 from 11-1:45 P.M. at McConnell Funeral Home.

Mr. Hastings was born June 17, 1952 to Charles Leo Hastings and Cora Hill Campbell Hastings. He was a police officer and mayor.

Mr. Hastings was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Donald E. Hastings; and three sisters Jenny Hill, Patricia Moore, Addie Marie Cluxton.

Mr. Hastings is survived by his wife of 40 years Donna Hastings; son Chris Hastings and wife Krystal of Athens; daughter Angie Schrimsher and husband Greg of Rogersville; brothers Clayton Hastings and wife Linda of Athens, and Haskell Hastings of Athens; grandchildren Matthew Schrimsher, Brodie Schrimsher, Andrew Hastings, Madison Hastings, and Bailey Hastings.

Pallbearers will be Mike Wallace, Wayne Williams, Steve Burrow, Charles Thornton, BJ Jarrett, and Mike Gray
