Curtis was truly my soul mate We were together 38 years
I knew it was love at first sight! But I know that God has another angel beside Him looking down on us
Rest in peace my precious husband . I know that we will be together again soon
I miss you so very much and love you too .

My best friend, my hero.... I miss him so much. Hes the best dad a man can ask for. I can only pray that God gives me the ability to be half the man my daddy was. Now may he watch over and protect me and my mother from Heaven. I love you dad.

Your best buddy,
Justin

I grew up with Curtis in the neighborhood. He was like a 3rd brother to me! I went to my first concert with him and my oldest brother to see The Eagles. I attended Emmanuel for several years and we sang in the youth choir together. He was always there for me, trying to keep me out of trouble on more than one occasion! The greatest memory is the day I was walking down the aisle to get married. I was really nervous but Curtis was the first person I saw smiling ear to ear. It made me feel so much better! As usual time drifts people apart but he had and always will have a special place in my heart.

Curtis was my sweet, funny first cousin that I will always remember when I think of those Sundays and holidays at grandmother and granddaddy Rose's house, running and playing in the creek. It always put a smile on my face when I would see him at family gatherings or when I think of those carefree days as children.
My heart especially goes out to Gloria, Lowell, Pam and Justin.
All my sympathy and love, Lisa

I worked with Curtis at GM. Great guy, always a pleasure to see. After we retired I bought several appliances from him at Lowes. I will certainly miss seeing him. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
