Cynthia Finley

Mrs. Finley was born September 27,1948 to John Reed and Kathleen West Reed.

She is survived by her son Kevin Pate of Owensboro, KY; daughter Kelli Morgenweck (Garrick) of San Antonio, TX; stepdaughter Donna Hargrove (Randy) of Athens; brother Lloyd Reed (Judy) of Kingsport TN; sister Marcia Bass (Dan) of Pulaski, TN; grandchildren Addyson Morgenweck, Kendal Morgenweck, and Aubrey Morgenweck; step-grandchildren Chase Hargrove (Rachel), Anna Hargrove.

Mrs. Finley was preceded in death by her parents and husband William Donald Finley.

Mrs. Finley was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. She was a previous employee of Walgreens in Athens. An avid animal lover, Mrs. Finley was a huge supporter of the Athens Limestone Animal Shelter. Mrs. Finley was also a kind and devoted mother and grandmother, she was a kind-hearted lady who brightened the day of those she came in contact with.

Visitation will be Monday January 16, 2023 from 6-8 pm at McConnell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 17, 2023 at 1 pm at McConnell Funeral Home with Ron Wallace presiding with burial following at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church cemetery.
