She went to heaven April 28, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her father Robert and her mother Dorothy.
She was survived by her daughter Cheyenne Peña (husband Thomas). Sister Nancy Page (husband Tim) and a host of family and friends.
Cynthia was a very sweet and kind person. She loved her family and friends with all her heart.
Cynthia accepted Christ at an early age. She struggled physically the past two years but had her eyes fixed on Heaven. Nothing would make her happier than having all her friends and family join her in Heaven one day. John 3:16.
Cynthia’s family celebrated her home going by listening to the song by Chris Tomlin “Home” and several other of her favorite Christian songs. She so loved to worship Jesus through songs. Thankful she is getting to worship at the feet of Jesus today.
We thank God for the team of angels, the numerous doctors and nurses at Athens Hospital, Limestone Rehab and Hospice of Limestone County who cared for her.
In lieu of flowers please honor Cynthia by making donations to Hospice of Limestone County. “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.”
