Dana was born March 28, 1967 in Texas to Alan and Diane Olson. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital.

Dana had an unconditional love for her family especially her children and grandchildren. She loved watching Alabama football. She loved Tweety Bird, cooking, crocheting and crafting; in addition to, everything purple.

She is preceded in death by her father, Alan Olson. She is survived by her mother, Diane Olson; four children: her son Kyle Key, three daughters Kristy Hudson and husband Adam, Kandi Vega and husband Alberto, Karrie Jackson and husband Darrell. In addition to, one brother Damon Olson and wife Heidi, and one sister Deanna Hernandez and husband Carlos. Eleven grandchildren Emily, Brailey, and Jimmy Key, Jireh, Gianna, and Myrick Jackson, Carson Kyle, Alberto, Alyiesiea, and Alan Vega and Roxy the Rottweiler.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Key, Adam Hudson, Darrell Jackson, Alberto Vega, Jeff Grisham, and Damon Olson.

Visitation will be Friday, July 27, 2018 from 3:00 – 5:45 P.M. at McConnell Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 P.M. with Brother Donald Terry Officiating. She will be laid to rest at Reunion Cemetery.

Momma, I love you so much and can’t believe your gone. We miss you so much already. We are trying so hard to be strong but we never imagined this pain. Your are the best mom we could have ever ask for and a even better grandmother. I promise to always try my best to make you proud. Tomorrow we will lay you to rest and I can’t imagine how we are going to get threw it but know we love you and hope we make you proud and are looking down smiling on how we did everything for you. I love you Dana I still can’t believe you are gone. You were my sister, we have been through a lot over 37 years. I am so glad your are not hurting but I will miss you like crazy. We might have only been a phone call away but I always knew you were there. Its going to be hard not to pick up the phone and call you. I know I’ll see you one day.
