David Junior Moss

Visitation will be Saturday, December 30, from 12-1:45 P.M. at McConnell Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

David Junior Moss, 79, passed away on December 25, 2017 at Athens Limestone Hospital.

David was born July 8, 1938 to Marvin and Ruby Moss.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons Marvin Travis Moss and David Ray Higgins and one brother Franklin D. Moss.

He was survived by his six sons Ricky David Moss, Barry Delynn Moss (Jenny), Roger Dale Moss, Harold Dean Moss, Corey Lynn Moss (Fallon), Justin Heath Moss; two stepsons Steven Middleton (Patty) and Ricky Middleton; two daughters Carol Sue Moss Martin (Stephen), and Joy Ann Moss Watkins (Jeffery); companion, Lois Middleton,14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and two brothers Louie Moss, Freddie Dean Moss, two sisters Dona Bell Moss Pack and Darthy Moss Barnett and numerous nieces and nephews.

David was a retired truck driver of 60 years, who enjoyed mechanic work. He was a good father who loved his family. He was a member of the Holiness Church. He loved the Lord

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Moss, Stephen Martin, Michael Kirkland, Jonathan Moss, Daron Moss, Philip Barnett, Jackie Moss and Kendall Smith

Honorary Pallbearers are Clint Moss, Terry Moss and Michael Blakely, Jeff Watkins, and Chris Moss.
