Mrs. Stanford is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Stanford; three brothers, Harold, John and Robert Tollison.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to crochet, and she was a member of Cherry Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Danny Reed Stanford; one daughter, Patti Stanford Cates; one granddaughter, Michaela Cates; one great grandson, Aiden Nugent; many family members and friends.
The funeral service will be Monday, August 4, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Cherry Grove Baptist Church with Terry Lamar and Mike Kelly officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 12 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Mitchell Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, send donations to St. Jude or Hospice of Limestone County in her memory.
