The funeral service will be Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 2 p.m. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Curtis Renz officiating. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 2 p.m.
Mrs. Guthrie was born June 29, 1924 in Illinois to Nimrod Lind and Emma Lindstrom. She was a retired teacher and taught 3rd grade for 34 years.
Survivors include 2 sons, Robert Guthrie and wife Betty of Athens, AL; David Guthrie and wife Carolyn of Rodchester, NH; 4 grandchildren, and 2 step-grandchildren.
