She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Brock (Perry); sister, Marilyn Holder; granddaughter, Elizabeth Thompson; seven great-granchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Garret is preceded in death by her husband, Finis E. Garrett; and her parents, Wade and Ruth Latham.
The family will be having a private memorial service.
