

Frank Peter Cupero Sr. 92, of Punta Gorda, Florida entered God’s Kingdom on July 15, 2026, after a 2-year battle with cancer. Frank was born January 9,1934 in Brooklyn, New York to Felix and Frances Marino Cupero. Frank was the youngest of 2 children.
He met the love of his life Carol Ellen Hayden at a catholic dance and were married on May 25, 1957. They moved to Fairfield Connecticut in 1958 where they raised 3 sons: Frank Jr., Philip and Anthony, eventually moved his family to Easton Connecticut in 1980. In 1992 Frank retired from Olin Corporation and two years later Frank and Carol moved to their dream home in Punta Gorda Florida. They enjoyed many years together in Florida making new friends and traveling both in the US and abroad. They were active members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Punta Gorda, Florida.
Frank attended City College of New York where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy in 1955. A few years later he passed the CPA exam and earned his license to practice as a Certified Public Accountant. His first job was working in a private accounting practice that his Uncle Frank Marino owned in Westport Connecticut. He later worked for Olin Corporation where he retired after holding various Senior level Financial Executive positions.
He leaves behind: sons Frank Cupero Jr. (Cynthia), Philip Cupero (Doreen); seven grandchildren: Joshua Cupero (Jessica), Trisha Cupero Morgan (Lance), Anthony Cupero, Samantha Cupero, Thomas Cupero, Christopher Cupero, Danielle Cupero; four great-grandchildren: Chloe Cupero, Alexander Cupero, Francesca Morgan, Aurelia Morgan.
Frank joins his: beloved parents Frances and Felix; wife Carol; son Anthony; sister Annette and brother-in-law Nick and niece Frances in heaven.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 9:00 until 10:30 at Hoyt Funeral Home located: 199 Main Street, New Cannan CT 06840, Follow by a Mass at St Aloysius Parish Catholic Church located 21 Cherry Street, New Canaan, CT 06840. Burial to follow in St. John Cemetery located 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk, CT. 06850
