Mr. Jones was born January 15, 1960 in Alabama to Ben H. Jones and Lila Grace Newby Jones. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Morris Jones, Robert Jones, Wayne Jones, and one sister, Lou Nell Adams.
Mr. Jones was an Auburn football fan, as well as a NASCAR fan, and he loved his dog, Magnum.
Survivors include his daughter, Regina Rye (William) of Athens; four sisters, Linda Eckstien, Faye Stanford, Mae Sterling, Janette Tyler; two grandchildren, Dylan Rye, Deondre Rye, and numerous nieces and nephews.
