Mr. Christopher was born on August 19, 1950, to Edward and Annie Christopher.
Let's remember the incredible journey of George Christopher, a man who wore many hats and brought endless smiles to our lives.
From farming to crafting, George was a true master of hay and building all kinds of beautiful furniture. When he wasn’t working in his fields or shops, he spent his Saturdays cheering on the Auburn Tigers!
Who could forget George’s signature fidgeting? He could never sit still and was always tapping, snapping, or shaking those feet! His perpetual motion kept us all amused and wondering how one person could have so much energy.
And oh, his phone! His grandkids remember him falling asleep wherever he sat, when he did sit, with his trusty phone. And as quickly as he dozed off, he was awake giving his trademark chuckle pretending he never missed a beat.
But above all, George, Daddy, and Grandpa treasured his role as a husband, father, and grandfather. He was a teacher of both life lessons and how to bale the perfect hay. The memories he created will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
As we celebrate his life, let's remember the loud belly laugh, the jokes, and the moments that made George who he was – a dynamic, fun-loving spirit who embraced every part of life.
Though George's journey in this world has come to an end, the echoes of his laughter, the touch of his craftsmanship, and the cheers for Auburn football will forever remind us to embrace life with a full heart, just as he did.
A graveside service will be held at New Salem Cemetery on Friday September 1st at 12pm.
