He was born July 13, 1941 in Limestone County, AL to Oneal Chambers and Evie Christine Taylor Chambers.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by one son Troy Chambers and wife Dixie of Prospect, TN; one daughter Christina Chambers Kirby of Athens, special friend Linda Hobson, one brother Harold Johns and wife of Nicki Athens; one sister Bonnie Putman of Athens; and seven grandchildren Caleb Chambers, Harley Ann Chambers, Joshua Cole Chambers, Austin Ezell, Montana, Savannah, and Kaleb Kirby.
Burial will be Thursday at 11 A.M. at Athens City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Troy Chambers, Harold Johns, Austin Ezell, Joe Rhineheimer, Derek Johns, and Jackie Posey.
