Jack Blalock

Mr. Blalock was born December 18, 1923 in Head River, GA to Alfred and Christine Blalock.

His hometown was in Dalton, GA. He worked and resided in Michigan and retired to St. Cloud, Florida. Jack served in the Army during WWII. He retired from Operating Engineers as a heavy duty mechanic.

Mr. Blalock is preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 68 years, Freida Lucille Blalock.

Survivors include four daughters, Laverne (James) Burrell of Adairsville, GA; Brenda (Gary) Tracy of St. Cloud, FL, Linda Stockbridge of Athens, AL and Pat Blalock of Dearborn, MI; one brother, Joe (Emily) Blalock; 8 grandchildren, Patricia LaRocca, Jon (Leslie) Stockbridge, Jack Allen Sayre, Rob (Lisa) Keywood, Alisha (Keith) Pulling, Timothy Bennett, Barry (Bonnie) Bennett and DeWayne Bennett; 13 great-grandchildren, Brittany (Ryan) Wheeler, Melissa Kumpf, Max Mueth, Cody Stockbridge, Samantha Keywood, Amber Sayre, Tim (Shea) Sayre, Josh Bennett, Crystal (Michael) Gross, Sandra (Chad) Shell, Bridget (Anthony) Roach and Ronald Stricker and baby Pulling; 11 great-great grandchildren, Aiden Wheeler, Wesley Wheeler, James Alexander, Damian Alexander, Malakai Machado Sayre, Nova Machado Sayre, Abygail Gross, Chandler Shell, Andrew Abernathy, Ari Black and Katie Roach; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Miller Cemetery on Mark Brown Road in Dalton, GA and a fellowship at 3 p.m. at the Western Sizzlin. If you have any questions please call 248-318-4205.
