Jack Edward Harris

Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 2 p.m. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Stan Mullins officiating. Visitation will be from 11-1:45 at McConnell. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mr. Harris was born January 14, 1937 in Gallatin, TN to Frank Edward Harris and Grady Bell Sandlin Harris. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a materials manager for Nissan in Deckard and Smyrna, TN, and he worked for 30 years at Chrysler Corporation as a Materials Manager and retired from there.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his twin brother, Mack Harris.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy, three sons, Mark Harris and wife Lori Ellen of Athens; Dave Harris and wife Phyllis of Harvest, AL; Billy Harris and wife Dawn of Michigan; one brother, Bill Harris and wife Jodi of Orlando, FL; one sister, Louise Trimble of Tampa, FL; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Morrow and husband Jessie, Nathan Harris, Joshua Harris, Caleb Harris and Fiancé Alannah Gates, Alyssa Harris, Kennedee Harris, Raina Hudnall and Leela Hudnall.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Harris, Caleb Harris, Mark Harris, Billy Harris, Don Harris and Keith Herzbert.

Memorial may be made to St. Jude Hospital.
