Jacqueline Kennedy, 62, of Athens, AL passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024. She was born January 29, 1962 in Limestone County to Hollis Walden Kennedy and Marsha Pepper Kennedy. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Shawn Kennedy, and one sister, Deanna Burgreen.
Survivors include her brother, Keith Kennedy and wife Melissa, and several nieces and nephews.
Jacqueline graduated from East Limestone High School in 1980. After graduating from high school, Jacqueline attended Calhoun Community College, after which she attended the University of Alabama, where she received her bachelor’s degree. Jacqueline moved to Lexington, KY, after she graduated from The University of Alabama. She remained there until 2013, when she moved back home to Athens. Jacqueline worked at Lowe’s in Athens; she also worked in property management.
A graveside service will be held in her honor Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Roselawn Cemetery.
