James Edward Pugh

James spent all his life in Limestone County, Alabama, was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, and retired from Burgreen Construction Company.

Survivors include 1 son: Randal Pugh (Stephanie), daughter: Teresa Jordan (Ken), grandchildren: Danille Murray (Kenny), Morgan Barnett (Lance), David Craig (Magee), Jeff Craig (Leeann), Jacob Pugh, Alan Pugh, and James Poteete. Great-grandchildren: Bryant Barnett, Easton Barnett, Peyton Barnett, Cassandra Craig, Savannah Lipscomb (Carson), Austin Craig, Natalie Craig, Cameron Pugh, Brysen Riggs, Sebastian Pugh, and Jude Pugh.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Jean Pugh, 2 sons: Dennis Pugh and Terry Pugh, 2 grandchildren: Brad Pugh, Christina Priest and husband Aaron.

Visitation will be Friday, July 17th, 2026, from 11:00 until 12:50, a Celebration Of Life service will be immediately following at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be David Craig, Jeff Craig, Austin Craig, Tommy Polk, Tony Ramsey, and Allen Tinnon. Honorary Pallbearer is Jacob Pugh.
